Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is Glass Safety Film?
It is a high-tension, optically clear polyester layer applied to existing glass. It acts as an invisible anchor, engineered to hold glass fragments together if the pane is impacted or shattered, preventing dangerous shards from scattering.
Will it change the look of my windows or shower screens?
Not at all. Our premium film is designed for “Invisible Protection.” It is virtually indistinguishable from untreated glass, maintaining 100% of your natural light and crystal-clear views.
Can it be applied to my existing glass, or do I need new windows?
One of the best features of safety film is that it is retrofitted. We professionally apply it to your current glass surfaces—windows, sliding doors, or shower screens—without the need for expensive glass replacement.
How long does the installation take?
We value your time. Most residential applications are completed within a few hours. Because there is no “construction” involved, there is zero mess and no downtime for your home.
Does it provide any protection against the sun?
Yes. Beyond physical safety, our film blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays. This helps protect your family’s skin and prevents your furniture, flooring, and artwork from fading over time.
Is the film easy to clean?
Absolutely. Once the film has fully cured (usually within a few days), you can clean it just like regular glass using a soft microfiber cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
How durable is the film? Will it bubble or peel?
When professionally installed, our safety film is incredibly durable. It is bonded to the glass with a high-grade adhesive designed to last for years without bubbling, peeling, or discoloring.
Is safety film the same as "Security Film"?
Safety film is primarily designed to prevent injury from accidental breakage (like a child running into a door). While it does provide a level of security by making the glass harder to penetrate, we can also discuss thicker “Security Grade” options if your primary goal is forced-entry protection.
